There are 3 sets of criteria used to determine your membership plan. When one of these 3 criteria surpasses into the next plan, then the monthly payment amount will adjust on the following month.
Criteria #1 - Amount invested in all A.I. SmartFolios
Each plan has thresholds that can ultimately determine your membership level. The thresholds listed below are focused specifically on the dollars you have invested in SmartFolios only:
- Free: $0-$6k
- Lite: $6k-$25k
- Advanced: $25k-$50k
- Pro: $50k+
Criteria #2 - A.I. SmartFolio in Use
Each A.I. SmartFolio is tied to a different plan. As you graduate to a higher plan, the greater the pool of SmartFolios you have to choose from. To view a full list of SmartFolio’s and which plan they are associated with, click here
Criteria #3 - Number of unique SmartFolios being used simultaneously
The higher the plan, the more SmartFolios you can leverage simultaneously. Below are simultaneous SmartFolio limitations in each plan:
- Intro: 1 unique SmartFolio
- Lite: 2 unique SmartFolios
- Advanced: 5 unique SmartFolios
- Pro: Unlimited unique SmartFolios
Remember - iFlip will always use the higher of the three criteria above to determine your current monthly fee. Examples below (reference pricing table here as needed):
Use Case 1
John Doe has $30k invested in the “Conservative +” A.I. SmartFolio (which is available at the Advanced Plan). John Doe's monthly fee would be $37/month since both the amount invested in SmartFolios and the specific SmartFolio In Use are both at the advanced plan.
During a month John Doe either withdraws or has losses that take his amount invested in A.I. SmartFolios down to $24.5k (Lite plan), and all his money remains in 'Conservative +' (Advanced Plan). John Doe's monthly fee would still be $37/mo since the SmartFolio In Use is the higher of the three criteria listed above.
In this case, John Doe’s account is not eligible to be downgraded.
Use Case 2
Jane Doe has $20k total in her A.I. SmartFolios (Lite Plan). She invests in 'SPY+' (Intro Plan), 'SPY I' (Intro Plan) and ‘Red Oil’ (Lite Plan). Her membership plan would be Advanced ($37/mo) since the number of unique SmartFolios being used simultaneously is 3 - which is the Advanced Plan.
A week later Jane Doe decided to sell out of the ‘Red Oil’ SmartFolio - leaving her with 2 SmartFolios. At this time, she would be eligible to change her membership plan to the Lite Plan.
Use Case 3
Jane Doe has a total of $4k invested in A.I. SmartFolios (Intro Plan). All of it is invested in ‘6040’ (Lite Plan). She would be at the Lite Level ($10/mo) since the SmartFolio In Use is in the Lite Plan.
During a month Jane withdraws all of her money from 6040. At this time, Jane would be eligible to change her membership plan to the Intro Plan.
